God uniquely creates human beings in his image (Gen. 1:26-28). A closer examination of “image of God” language in its ancient setting will give us the opportunity to reflect on what it means to be human and to live according to God’s plan for human flourishing.
Dr. Carol Kaminski
Dr. Carol Kaminski is a Senior Professor of Old Testament at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, having taught at the seminary for over two decades. She has authored two books on Genesis (From Noah to Israel: Realization of the Primaeval Blessing After the Flood and Was Noah Good? Finding Favor in the Flood Narrative) and has written a commentary on 1-2 Chronicles (Zondervan’s Story of God Commentary).
