"A Crash Course on 2000 Years of Church History"

We will be reading through Christian History in Seven Sentences: A Small Introduction to a Vast Topic by IVP.
(Participants will each be given a copy of the book.)

The four sessions will cover the following:

1. Intro and Early Church Persecution, ending with Edict of Milan

2. Nicene Creed and the Rise of Orthodoxy; the story of the Monastic Movement

3. Schism!! .... The East/West Church Split; Protestant Reformation

4. The Worldwide Missionary Movement; Conflict with Modernity (through the lens of Vatican II)
